The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Events in the Orem Community

Macey's Little Theatre, with instructor Nancy Judd, will bring Orem residents into the kitchen of Mark Twain with a series of cooking classes using recipes from The Cookbook of Mark Twain, which was purportedly found in the Connecticut home of Twain after his death in 1910, and reprinted for publication. The classes will be held on Wednesday evenings at the Orem Macey's Little Theatre at 7 p.m.

As in most classes at the Macey's Little Theater, attendees may try samples of all foods prepared, and will walk away with recipes, coupons and door prizes. Attendance at these classes is free, but those interested in attending must register ahead of time either at the service desk in the Orem Macey's (880 N. State St.) or by calling 225-6002.
